MEMBERSHIP

To apply for membership, please complete the New Member Application and upload or send in a completed letter of endorsement from one of the members of the society. We welcome applicants in two member categories:

Active member applicants must be certified in Vascular Surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS) and practicing vascular surgery in the geographic area of Southern California as defined by those counties included in the Southern California and San Diego Chapters of the American College of Surgeons.

AHP members applicants shall consist of those individuals who are not vascular surgeons but have made and continue to make meaningful contributions to the science and clinical practice in the field of vascular disease. This category may include non-MD’s allied health professionals who are part of a vascular surgery team or working in the field of vascular research.

The deadline to submit applications for the next review is April 1, 2026. The Membership Committee and Executive Council will review membership applications at the council meeting. All successful candidates will be voted on a ballot at the business meeting by the membership. One year following approved candidates will receive their membership certificates at the business meeting.
