WELCOME TO THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA VASCULAR SURGICAL SOCIETY

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

I’m pleased to invite you to the Southern California Vascular Surgical Society Annual Meeting at the Surf & Sand Laguna Beach, April 30 – May 2, 2027.

This meeting is built for practicing surgeons—focused, practical, and worth your time. We’ll cover what’s changing in vascular care, what’s working in real-world practice, and where we need to be heading as a specialty. Just as important, it’s a chance to connect with colleagues who understand the same clinical and operational pressures we all navigate.

Abstract submission opens December 15, 2026, with a deadline of February 15, 2027. If you have work that moves the field forward—clinical outcomes, technical innovation, or lessons learned—I encourage you to submit. The strength of this meeting comes directly from the quality of your contributions.

I’m also pleased to recognize our Program Chair, Dr. Allan Murga, who is working closely with the executive committee to deliver a program that is relevant, efficient, and engaging.

Make plans to join us in Laguna Beach. It will be a productive weekend with strong science, meaningful discussion, and the kind of collegial environment that defines this society.

Sincerely,

Scott Musicant, MD

President, Southern California Vascular Surgical Society
